Liverpool will renew their fierce rivalry with Manchester United this weekend in a game that could define their seasons.
The Reds were two games from an unprecedented quadruple last term but a disappointing season this year has seem drop to sixth.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are all-but certain to finish the campaign without silverware following their 5-2 Champions League hammering to Real Madrid.
But they’ve since responded with a draw and a win against Crystal Palace and Wolves respectively to move within six points of the top four.
High-flying United are the latest team standing in their way, with their FA Cup victory over West Ham in midweek continuing their own push for a quadruple.
The Carabao Cup winners were the first of many teams to defeat Liverpool this season following a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture in August but they haven’t triumphed at Anfield since 2016.

Liverpool vs Man United: Team news
The hosts still have a number of absentees, with Thiago Alcantara, Calvin Ramsay, Luis Diaz and Joe Gomez all expected to miss out.
Cody Gakpo will be hoping to reclaim his starting berth from Diogo Jota while Arthur Melo is also vying for his first Premier League minutes.
The visitors are also without key figures in the form of Christian Eriksen, Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is in line to replace Diogo Dalot in defence to cope with Darwin Nunez’s pace having been rested in midweek.

Liverpool vs Man United: What has been said?
Klopp was asked whether his side’s 2-0 win over Wolves in midweek was the perfect way to go into their showdown with Man United.
He said: “In the best possible way, but in the end it’s still a different game and a big challenge, of course. I think Man United is the team in form in the moment, maybe together with Arsenal and City are [also] doing well.
“The teams up there are all in a pretty good moment and I didn’t see yet the line-up [for United’s 3-1 FA Cup game over West Ham] but maybe they changed quite a few? That means some of them will be a bit fresher than us, but it’s a home game and it’s Anfield.
“I thought Anfield proved a point tonight again, it was super, super-enjoyable. It felt like a proper unit, we were all together – I loved that.
“That’s what we need again on Sunday, but of course it will be difficult. Again, if you face United at the weekend whichever result you’ve had before, either way you have to strike back or whatever, but now we have to use it for our general situation.
“We have to build on the performance and on the result – and we try everything to do exactly that.”

Liverpool vs Man United: Match facts
- Marcus Rashford has scored 10 goals in his last 10 Premier League games, netting in each of his last five appearances. Only three different Manchester United players have scored in six in a row – Ruud van Nistelrooy (3 separate runs), Eric Cantona (April 1996) and Cristiano Ronaldo (April 2008).
- Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho were on the scoresheet in Man Utd’s 2-1 win over Liverpool in August – the last English player to score home and away league goals against them for the Red Devils in a single season was Tommy Taylor in 1953-54.
- Since the start of the 2017-18 season, no player has scored more goals against Liverpool in all competitions than Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford (6, level with Harry Kane). However, all six of his goals against the Reds have come at Old Trafford.
